The 19 October acquired Sparta into a new player, a goalie.
His name is Mathias Gundersen and he is 24 years old. He is a really good goalie!
Mathias signs on contract for Comet, a hockey team from Halden, in the beginning of the season, because he was a decline after he was on the national team two years ago.
He had little play time in the old club he was employed in, and therefore went to the Comet for more play time there.
So after the third match into the Get Liga, Comet went bankrupt, and he was released from the contract and had no club.
Sparta thinks he was too good to not have any club to play in, so they acquired the Norwegian country kind of goalkeeper.
It also seems there was a great opportunity to have a country kind of keeper in the squad.
Mathias has now signed for the rest of the year, and will fight for space between the poles together with the first goalie, Phil Osaer.
